The biological clock is a biorhythmic system within the human body that regulates the physiological and behavioral activities of the body over a 24-hour period. Rhythmic lighting uses different colors and brightness of light to simulate changes in natural light, which can have an impact on the human biological clock, thereby improving the quality of sleep, increasing daytime alertness, adjusting jet lag and improving mental health.
